JustNation aims to clarify our complex political and economic systems. We believe that understanding the history of racial injustice including slavery, Jim Crow laws, and redlining—is crucial. These historical acts intentionally created systems that still affect communities of color and contribute to lower voter turnout today. By demystifying how these past injustices shape our present, we empower individuals, especially people of color and infrequent voters, with the knowledge to see the profound impact of their participation. When we grasp these connections, we move from disengagement to active involvement for achieving racial justice and a truly equitable society. JustNation plans to move thousands of non-voters and infrequent voters to vote.
